Hollie - Guide & Operations manager

Hollie has been working and guiding with Across Country Quad Bikes since the Company began in 2005, so is extremely knowledgeable about the tracks and the bikes. Hollie has also lived in Franz since 2002 so has a world of knowledge about the local and surrounding areas, she loves to show off the area to all clients on a tour and it will be a privilege for all to see such a hidden gem whilst having fun on a quad bike. She is originally from Sweden with chinese parents and her husband is a kiwi, so if you would like this trip in any other languages, such as swedish, cantonese, spanish or plain old english, Hollie can help you out.When Hollie is not out guiding she like to do Yoga and hang out with her family, her young daughter Noa is also a huge fan of the quad bikes.

Karl - Guide & Quad Bike Mechanic

Karl is originally from Hokitika and moved to Franz Josef in 2003. He has been working with Across Country Quad Bikes for about 4 years and has various previous experience on both quad bikes and 4x4 driving, Karl will ensure you have a fun trip and keep you feeling comfortable even when you are out of your comfort zone. He aims to ensure all of the bikes are fit and in good working condition before they are taken out on trips, no one can fix a flat tyre as fast as Karl. When he's not guiding or working on the bikes, Karl likes to take time out with his family by the beach in Okarito.

Jonathon - Guide

Jonathon is over here from Scotland working with Across Country Quad Bikes as a guide. He is an experienced instructor and loves nothing more than being outdoors. When guiding he ensures every trip is an adventure and that nobody leaves without a smile on their face. He also has a knack for taking great pictures so you can show all your friends and family what a great time you had while out on an Across Country Quad Bike adventure.

Trina - Guide

Trina is New Zealand born and bred and has been riding quad bikes and motor bikes her whole life. For the last eight years she has been racing motocross in New Zealand and Australia so knows the best route across any terrain.

She has worked for Across Country Quad Bikes for the past three summer seasons so knows how to make your trip memorable.  While guiding she loves to explore the river bed so you are sure to have a fun filled adventure. This is her last season working with us before she joins the New Zealand army in February so come experience a trip with her while you can.
